I have partnered with Chocoley Chocolate and have received product to facilitate this recipe. All opinions and experiences are 100% my own.
One of my favorite candies is See’s Almond Squares. Mr. Pinkcakeplate asked me why I hadn’t figured out what is in these little gems of yumminess!! Well I did it!! I figured out what is in these morsels!! And it is sooooo simple!! Caramel, Almonds and Chocolate that is it!!
I don’t know why I have not even attempted to figure this out other than I would eat the whole batch all by myself because no one else in the house likes them!! Are you ready for your recipe?? I will give you some tips too!!
Ok lessons learned with this recipe…the almonds and caramel need to be packed TIGHTLY in the pan!! Butter your hands very well and press the candy FIRMLY in the pan. Don’t put the candy in the fridge to cool!! You will have to wait for it to come to room temperature before cutting into squares!! This was torture waiting!!! Use a nice sharp butcher knife to make long clean cuts!!
Ok if I think of anymore tips I will update this post but I think were good to go!! If you love almonds ,caramel and chocolate this is the recipe for you!!
