Today I have a little review of the movie Avengers Age of Ultron. This was a really fun movie but Mr.Pinkcakeplate really enjoyed the movie and I was able to talk him into providing this review for you!! Reading it he really knows this stuff so it worked out perfect that he write the review!! So Enjoy!
To say that the new Avengers – Age of Ultron is the best in the Marvel catalog is an understatement. The latest movie to come from the Marvel camp is full of exactly what you have been waiting for. Plenty of excitement, demolition, human drama and age old man vs machine debate, this movie has it all. We are now up to the fourth infinity stone to be discovered out of the six, this latest installment teaches us of the mind stone. Found in Loki’s staff, it’s what gave Loki the ability to get people to do his bidding. The first Stone to be found was the Tesseract which housed the Space Stone, giving the power to transport between realms. The next stone was in the Aether from Thor-The Dark World. This housed the Reality stone with the power to transform matter. Then we found the Orb in Guardians of the Galaxy which housed the Power stone. Only two stones left to see. The Time and the Soul stones will be revealed in future Marvel movies. These stones were meant to be together and placed in the Infinity Gauntlet, an all powerful glove shown in Odin’s vault in the first Thor movie.
In the Avengers – Age of Ultron, Tony Stark uses Loki’s staff to create Ultron, an AI (Artificial Intelligence) meant to be a planetary guardian capable of guarding Earth and allowing the Avengers to retire and live normal lives. As always, AI’s tend to outgrow their programming and understanding and simply want to destroy any other life form that wants to do it harm.
As the Avengers assemble to a common cause to defeat Ultron, Two new “enhanced” beings get in the way.
The twins, the Scarlet Witch with her mind altering powers and her brother Quicksilver with his superhuman speed are bent on defeating Stark for killing their parents.
The Scarlet Witch begins to dishearten the Avengers one by one and pitting them against each other until she learns of Ultrons agenda to wipe out the human population. Ultron, played spectacularly by James Spader proves to be a formidable foe. Ultron creates a vast army of mechanical minions, all sharing his programming.
On another face of the movie is the strange relationship blossoming between Black Widow and Bruce Banner / The Hulk. She is strangely drawn to both sides of Banner. She loves the intellectual human side while admiring the raw power of the Hulk. She identifies on a deep level, both halves of the struggle between his two sides. A story I’m sure we’ll see more of in the future.
For those of you who have been waiting for this movie since the last Avengers installment, your wait is over! This film will not disappoint. Another fantastic installment in the great Marvel universe.
