Rocky Road Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box favorite brownie mix for 9"x13" pan plus ingredients to make brownies
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 3/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup salted peanuts

Method
 

  1. Prepare 9"x13" pan with cooking spray set aside.
  2. Mix brownies according to package directions.Spread mixture into prepared baking pan. Bake 35-40 minutes or until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan. (Do not over bake.)
  3. Combine 1/4 cup butter, 1/4 cup milk, cream cheese and chocolate chips in 2-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 6-8 minutes or until melted. Remove from heat. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Stir in marshmallows and peanuts. Immediately spread over hot brownies. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Store refrigerated.
