Caramel Chocolate Ritz Bars

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Ritz crackers crushed
  • 1 14 ounce can caramel flavor sweetened condensed milk
  • 11 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • If you cannot find caramel flavor sweetened condensed milk use a 10-14 oz jar of premium caramel ice cream topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray an 8x8 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Add the crackers to the bowl of a food processor and pulse until you have fine crumbs.
  3. Add the cracker crumbs and sweetened condensed milk to a medium bowl. Add 1/2 of the chocolate chips to the mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Press into the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the top. Let sit for 5 minutes to melt and then spread the chocolate evenly over the top with an off-set spatula. Cool completely before cutting into 16 squares.
