Craker Barrel Hash Brown Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 26 oz. frozen shredded hash browns
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded Colby cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely minced onion
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbls. melted butter - divided
  • Dash garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Spray a 9"x13" baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Combine frozen hash browns, 2 cups of cheese and onion in a large bowl. Mix together thoroughly.
  • Combine the milk, chicken broth, melted butter, the garlic powder, salt and pepper in another bowl. Mix until well blended, then pour over the hash browns and cheese/onion mixture and mix together well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 mins. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top of casserole for last 10 minutes of baking. Serve hot.
