Caramel Chocolate Ritz Bars

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Ritz crackers crushed
  • 1 14 ounce can caramel flavor sweetened condensed milk
  • 11 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • If you cannot find caramel flavor sweetened condensed milk use a 10-14 oz jar of premium caramel ice cream topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray an 8x8 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Add the crackers to the bowl of a food processor and pulse until you have fine crumbs.
  • Add the cracker crumbs and sweetened condensed milk to a medium bowl. Add 1/2 of the chocolate chips to the mixture and stir to combine.
  • Press into the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the top. Let sit for 5 minutes to melt and then spread the chocolate evenly over the top with an off-set spatula. Cool completely before cutting into 16 squares.
