I really hate my hair I really do so when I find something noteworthy about a cute hairstyle I just gotta tell someone about it!! And if it will work for my short, fine thin hair it is a definite winner!! Normally when I travel I have my favorite hair scrunchy to use but after havingit for a couple of years it is finally time to retire it. Even with repeated attempts to revive it the poor thing was just done!! I wore it to Disneyland and was planning on using it on my upcoming trip to Walt Disney World but it is just not going to make it!
Well Sock buns have been the going rage for the last little while. And from perusing Pinterest I came across this PIN! Which led me to an amazing hair blog! Hair Romance!
You have to take a look at the web site this was pinned from Hair Romance!! It has a ton of amazing hair tutorials!!
I just knew I would never be able to do a sock bun with my short, fine, thin hair!! Well I was wrong!! Take a look!!! A super easy sock bun with my short, fine, thin hair!!!
Yup that is me!! I love it and it litereally took me 15 minutes and cost all of $6.00. I used a different hair strand mine was just a strand it was not on a weft or track. I simply wrapped the hair around the chignon form and it ended up looking just like a little bun! I chose a color close to my own hair color and just wrapped it around the form and tucked in the ends!!
I pull what little hair I have into a pony tail and slip this on then I arrange my own hair around the bun and plaster it with hair spray!! I have a sock bun even with my short, fine, thin hair!! No one even suspects it is fake!!! LOL!!
This is definetly going with me to the Food Blog Forum Conference this weekend!! Yes I will be in Florida at Walt Disney World with some of the most amazing food bloggers around!! I am so excited to go! So follow me on Instagram for all the fun!!
