Are you a Star Wars Geek? Well a few of my friends and I are!! So we decided to have an amazing Star Wars Freak Shake Blog Hop! I decided in true Disney style I would create a Princess Leia Freak Shake! Plus Star Wars Land is opening in both Disney Parks soon!

The really fun thing about Freak Shakes is the more outrageous they are the funner they are! If you search IG, Google or even Facebook by the hash tag #freakshake you will see some pretty amazing creations. From those with just a little bit of crazy to the completely insane! So why not to some amazing Star Wars themed Freakshakes!

For my freakshake I wanted to have that iconic Princess Leia “buns”! LOL It took me a couple of days to figure out how to accomplish that! First I wanted to use mini cinnamon rolls but to me that just didn’t feel right! But you know those adorable mini chocolate covered donuts? Yup they were perfect! I think they worked great! Here is a list of a few things you can use for your freak shake

  • cupcakes
  • mini bundt cake
  • cake slice
  • donuts mini or regular
  • chocolate covered pretzels
  • any candy you like from small to large sizes
  • cookies mini or regular size

I bet your wondering how to get the goodies to stick around the top of your glass? You can use melted chocolate but a better and easier choice is a nice thick frosting! The goodies will stick to the frosting and as it sits it will harden with the candy stuck on it.

Now another tip is you dont have to bake everything for your freak shake take advantage of your grocery store bakery or even a local bakery. If you ask they can provide you with your baked items!

Another thing to know is use those long bamboo shishkabob skewers to stick into your base! That’s how I was able to get the donut skewer to stay in the freak shake!

Last but not least you have to have a fun straw (or two) in your Freak Shake! The fun thing about these creations is you can just go crazy! Do you see Leia? Ok you might have to use your imagination but I think I nailed it!

Now for my friends creations take a look at these amazing Freak Shakes all in the name of Star Wars!
