As most of you know I attended SNAP Creativity at your Fingertips Conference back in April. The first night we arrived there was an informal meet-n-greet dinner for early birds!! This was where I first met Miss Kellie from Nest of Posies.
She is the most adorable gal with the most beautiful curly red hair!! (yes this mousey brown stick straight hair owner is envious!!) And her accent is the sweetest southern drawl y’all could ever hear!!
Well let me tell you as the conference continued I kept seeing these adorable burlap tote bags popping up all over!!
Seriously cute. Right????
Low and behold Miss Kellie is the creator of these amazing tote bags and surprisingly enough she must have brought a ton of these charmingly cute totes with her because I continually heard the squeals delight and excitement when a new owner received their bag! (You can read her post about getting ready for SNAP HERE!) I gotta tell you they are beyond darling!!! Yes I want one!!
So now you are asking why I am telling you all about the amazing Miss Kellie? Well remember my post about my BoHo Chic sandal re-do?? Yes you guessed it I am on a roll and have now made a total of 3 pairs of sandal re-dos!!
I loved the simplicity of the felt flowers on Miss Kellie’s totes and thought wow I could put those on my sandals so here is my Nest of Posies Inspired Shoe Re-Do!!
I found another very functional pair of sandals ugly (in my opinion) but comfortable and easy to wear!! This is the front panel not very cute at all.
So I took off the 3 wood rings. I simply cut them off and trimmed the exposed strings.
I broke out my Spellbinder Grand Calibur Machine and used the Big Scalloped Circles LG template and cut out these Nest of Posies inspired brown felt flowers!!
Now they are not near as adorable as Miss Kellie’s but they will do the job!! I simply hot glued these to the front of the Sandal and here is the finished product!!
Nest of Posies inspired Sandals!!! I totally love them!!
You must head over and visit Kellie at Nest of Posies! She made the most adorable Gingerbread Play House for her kiddos!
