I visited Disney World in May and had a fantastic time. However it was also a very eye opening time. It hit home that I am not taking very good care of myself. After quitting my full time job my stress level has decreased but I’m still not doing the little things I need to do to take care of myself physically. With that being said it’s “That” time again! Time to make some changes in my life!Time to start exercising, time to start drinking more water, time to make better food choices, time to lose some of this excess weight I am carrying around.
Just look at me with Tarzan I was so uncomfortable, over heated and miserable. It’s a fake smile on my face. LOL! So for the last four months I have been looking at all the different weight loss programs and plans I have tried. The ones that worked, the ones I liked, the ones I didn’t like and didn’t work. One that I keep seeing all over the media is Nutrisystem. You know the on Marie Osmond has had such success with. One that I had not tried.
I sent an email to an old email address in the hopes of being able to be a part of their Blogger program. Because frankly Nutrisystem not cheap, and I love the support the program provides! A few days later I received an email letting me know I had been accepted into their Blogger program!! I cannot tell you how excited I was!! Then the food arrived! First a huge box with a ton of non frozen food of mre’s as I call them (military term for “meals ready to eat”) Then a HUGE styrofoam shipment came with all the frozen food! All I have to do is purchase the fresh dairy, fruit and veggies and I am ready to go!
I have to tell you my first week was not as easy as I thought it would be. However I am so pleased with the food! Last night I wanted to order pizza so bad and came really close to doing it but I went out to my freezer and found the Italian Sausage & Turkey Pizza and it hit the spot! I stayed on track and even was able to have a little treat at the end of the day!
