I have decided I am a craft gadget hoarder. My mother was the kitchen gadget hoarder and I am the craft gadget hoarder. Is there a 12 step program for that? I have so many fun and cool craft gadgets its insane. Now my three latest are all from Cricut! Yes that’s right Cricut released 3 new products this last summer and I am lucky enough to have all three! To show you all three products I am making the cutest Holiday Napkins! Using the new Cricut Maker, Bright Pad and Easy Press. All three are practically magic in my book!

I have been obsessed with antlers, deer silhouettes and buffalo check. These easy Holiday Napkins encompass all three of these! I found the cutest fabric at my local Joann’s store and I knew exactly what I was going to do with it! Cricut Design space has some amazing designs and I found the perfect deer silhouette, it is so cute! My creative juices started flowing! So today how would you like to whip up some holiday napkins! Don’t stress about the sewing it just requires a straight stitch! Easy Peasy.

Supplies:

  • 1 Yard fabric of choice
  • coordinating thread
  • scissors
  • sewing machine
  • Cricut Glitter Iron On Vinyl
  • Cricut Design Space
  • Deer Silhouette
  • Cricut Maker
  • Cricut Bright Pad
  • Cricut Easy Press
  • Cricut 12″x24″ Fabric Mat
  • Cricut Light Grip Mat

I used the Cricut Maker to do all my cutting! Yes even the fabric. The maker has a rotary blade that cuts fabric with the best precision. I just about flipped out when I found out about this new feature. I love to sew hate to cut! So the Maker is perfect for me. I used the Cricut Maker to cut 11.5″x11.5″ squares.

I made a simple hem around the napkins. You just turn the edge of the fabric twice  and stitch it down.

Now back to Cricut Design Space! Yes there is a darling deer silhouette! I used the slice tool to separate the components in the design. I deleted the parts of the design I did not need and then cut 6 deer silhouettes out of the white glitter vinyl.

To make my life easy I used the Bright Pad to weed out the deer silhouettes. Makes is so easy, even thought this design was not complicated the Bright Pad made it even easier.

I have always struggled with iron on vinyl when I learned about the Cricut Easy Press I just about cried! I had to get my hands on one. Now all three new products are amazing but the Easy Press is my favorite hands down! I can finally do iron on vinyl! The Easy Press pretty much takes the thinking out of the equation. So on went the deer silhouettes onto the napkins! They turned out so cute!

My holiday table will look so cute! I love how these napkins turned out! You cant see it in the photos but they deer heads sparkle! LOL!

Hurry and enter to win the new Cricut Maker!
