Halloween is fast approaching and that means costumes, costumes, costumes! I hate spending money on something I am going to wear for just a few hours. I have been shopping at thrift stores for years now to put together my Halloween costumes and this year is no exception. I went to my local Deseret Industries store to get my Halloween Costumes on a dime!

I also spoke to a mom who was looking at this cute mermaid costume but it was way too big for her little girl. I mentioned with just a few easy alterations it could fit her daughter perfectly!

You can also put together your costume from the huge selection of clothing and other items that are available.  I went in with no idea of what I wanted to be for Halloween but I found this ratty old house coat (which I love!LOL!) and built my costume from there!
