I have to tell you I was more than excited when I was approached by a PR firm for a National Restaurant Chain!! When I found out it was Denny’s I was elated!! So without further ado I am a member of the Inaugural Denny’s Blogger Ambassador Counsil!!! Exciting News!! Denny’s Blog Ambassador thats me!!
We love Denny’s and it is a regular part of our Disneyland experiance!! We stay at a hotel where Denny’s is on our way when we walk to the park!!! We either start our day at Denny’s or somtimes we end our day there!! Hot cocoa on a chilly night is sooo nice after a fun filled day at Disneyland or California Adventure!! We love they are open 24 hours a day!!!
Well today I want to share with you a fun addition to the Denny’s summer menu!! AVOCADOS!!! Denny’s has added a few new menu items featuring the super fruit Avacados!! This super fuit is one of Mr. Pinkcakeplates favorites so we headed to our closest Denny’s to taste some of this yummy fare!!!
Now Mr. Pinkcakeplate loves avocados!! He will eat breakfast just about any time of day so he enjoyed the Avocado Bacon Omlette with a side of sausage!! Now doesnt that look amazing??? The Avocados were fresh and delicious adding such wonderful creaminess to the omlette!!! This is three-egg omelette with bacon, diced tomatoes and melted Pepper Jack cheese folded in with a smoky cheese blend and half of a sliced fresh avocado. Served with hash browns or grits and choice of bread.
He also had the Blueberry Cheesecake Shake!! Which is delicious!! I forgot to take a picture of that before diving in!! But this is pretty much what it looks like!! They blend cheesecake with blueberries and premium vanilla ice cream to create one incredibly thick milk shake our server gave us some extra whipped cream and they even give you the extra shake that doesnt fit in the glass!! You know in the metal shake tin??? That is my favorite!
Ya I know who could wait before taking that first sip??? It was amazing!! (Yes he shares with me!!LOL!!)
I had one of the items from the 2468 menu!! $8 Chicken Loaded Potato Skillet
Now doesnt that look delicious??? It was sooooo good!! Grilled seasoned chicken breast with red-skinned potatoes, diced bacon and broccoli served on a sizzlin’ hot skillet. Topped with Pepper Jack queso, shredded Cheddar cheese.
I loved this skillet!! There was a ton of chicken and the broccoli was cooked perfectly not mushy still had a little bite to it!! Soo good.
We even had the Blueberry Pancake Puppies® for dessert!!! Sooooo delicious!! Six bite-sized round Pancake Puppies® made with blueberry and white chocolate chips. Sprinkled with powdered sugar and served with a side of cream cheese icing for dipping.
The cream cheese icing was the best!!!
In the coming months I will be sharing some great and fun Denny’s Diner events and news!! I am so excited. Denny’s has been around forever it seems and will all the new menu items you just cant go wrong with a tried and true restaurant like Denny’s!! So stay tunned for more Denny’s fun in the coming months!!!
Congrats on the Denny’s Ambassador! My nephew Caleb’s favorite place to eat is Denny’s. Seriously, any time we see one he wants to stop at it. He’d flip over the ambassador thing.
