I love Coke Zero I mean really really love it. Its kind of embarrassing how much I love it! However I also love creating tasty low calorie concoctions using my beloved Coke Zero! This Dirty Coke Zero recipe is easy to recreate and goes perfectly with these RITZ-y Mozzarella Bites! They are both perfect for your impromptu game day gatherings.
These two recipes are so easy and the great thing is you can find all the ingredients at your local Walmart! No fancy schmancy ingredients to find or specialty stores to hit up!
I always have an abundance of Coke Zero on hand and love making yummy concoctions with it. I also like to eat my calories not drink them so I try to keep my drinks on the low cal or no cal side!
Lets start with the Dirty Coke Zero. Traditionally a coconut syrup is used well I couldn’t find coconut syrup at my local Walmart but I did find coconut extract! Winner winner chicken dinner! Coconut extract and fresh lime juice worked perfectly in my Dirty Coke Zero! It is soooo good! A perfect addition to your game day fare!
Now lets talk about another simple and easy snack for you game day snacking! These RITZ-y Mozzarella bites are the perfect addition to your menu. I used RITZ crackers low fat Mozzarella cheese and just a drizzle of pizza sauce. For a fresh snap I sliced scallions to sprinkle on top!
So easy and so good. I simply topped the RITZ cracker with mozzarella cheese popped them in a 350 degree preheated oven for about 5 minuets so the cheese was melted, then simply drizzled with delicious pizza sauce and a sprinkle of scallions!
Do you really need a recipe for that? Make as many or a few as you like add as much or as little pizza sauce and if you don’t like scallions leave them off! Make a lot I warn you there will not be one left!
Dirty Coke Zero
Ingredients
- 1/4 teaspoon coconut extract
- about 1 TBS lime juice I used 1 lime wedge
- 16 oz Coke Zero
- crushed ice
Instructions
- Place Ice in large glass, add coconut extract and squeeze lime wedge over ice. Add lime wedge to glass and carefully pour Coke Zero over ice, lime wedge and extract. It will foam up so be careful not to over fill your glass. (I used mason jars)
Remember you can find ALL your ingredients for both these delicious game day eats at your local Walmart! RITZ crackers are a staple in my house and you can find such a great variety at your local Walmart! For more delicious recipes and ideas make sure to visit “Ready for Kickoff“!
