I love cinnamon rolls and my husband loves eating breakfast for dinner so when I combined delicious unbaked cinnamon rolls with a delicious custard made with Dunkin’ Donuts® Extra Extra Creamer I knew I had a hit on my hands! This Cinnamon Roll Breakfast Bake is not only delicious but easy to make!
This Cinnamon Roll Breakfast Bake could not be simpler. Just remove six cinnamon rolls and allow them to thaw to the point of being able to cut them in six pieces each. It took about 30 minutes for the rolls to thaw. While the rolls thawed I whipped up the custard that goes over the top of the rolls. I love that I can use Dunkin’ Donuts® Extra Extra Creamer in this recipe. Dunkin’ Donuts® Extra Extra Creamer is made with real sugar, milk and cream for a wonderfully rich and smooth taste.
It adds such a creaminess to the custard that bathes the cinnamon rolls. Plus the flavor it adds is divine! I used my bullet type blender to whip up the custard. I love how light it made the custard.
While preheating the oven, I put the butter in my baking dish and popped it in the oven to melt. When the butter was melted I took the baking dish out of the oven and put the cut up cinnamon rolls in the pan and covered with the custard mixture.
The Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bake was baked in the preheated oven for 20 to 28 minutes or until the top was golden brown. Remove the Cinnamon Roll Breakfast Bake from the oven and allow to cool just a bit before drizzling with the cream cheese frosting that comes with the frozen cinnamon rolls. Now a dusting of powdered sugar is the perfect touch it makes the Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bake look so pretty. I took it just one step further and drizzled Maple Syrup on the top and put a dollop of fresh whipped cream on top. Now I must tell you the Cinnamon Roll Breakfast Bake is so so good. I could not get enough.
I am also so happy I can find everything I need at my local Walmart. The Dunkin’ Donuts® Extra Extra Creamer can be found in the Dairy Case by the milk! You can find the cinnamon rolls in the freezer section!
