I was provided tools from Sizzix to create my craft and facilitate this post however all opinions and experiences are 100% mine!
I love spring it has to be my favorite time of year and here in Arizona the weather is nearly perfect!! With Mothers Day fast approaching I decided I better get busy and post some fun and easy Spring craft and recipes!! Today’s post will not disappoint!! Its a “twofer” I am sharing today a fun and easy craft you can use to make easy Mothers Day gifts for mom or just to give to friends and I am including a recipe to fill it with!
I started with this adorable Berry Basket Die by Lori Whitlock!
I found the most adorable polka dot paper at my local craft store! It is perfect and matches the salty sweet treat I placed inside the berry basket!
Salty Sweet Mothers Day Treat Mix
Ingredients
- 1 bag popcorn popped I use the 94% fat free
- 7 oz. almond bark
- 8 oz spring sixlets you can find these at Walmart
- 1 Bag Bugles snack
- colored jimmies
Instructions
- Place the popped popcorn and Bugles in a large bowl. In a medium, microwave safe bowl, heat the almond bark in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each time, until melted and smooth (follow instructions on package for melting).
- Allow to cool for about 30 seconds. Drizzle the almond bark over the popcorn mixture and stir to coat. When popcorn is coated spread out on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper, top with sixlets and jimmies (if desired) and let cool. Break into pieces and serve in a large bowl or package in individual holiday bags.
Do you have a favorite snack mix? What is in it???

This looks scrumptious! And the sixlets reminded me of my childhood. I remember buying those in little packs of 6 of them. I totally need to make this!!!!
