Have you ever wanted to make an impressive and pretty dessert but all you had in the house was a handful of berries, pudding mix, whipped topping and snack cakes you picked up at Walmart?? Well with these few items you can pull together a delicious and stunning dessert!! One your friends and family will be impressed with and think you have slaved over all day!! Just take a look at this delicious Hostess Holiday Trifle!! #HostessHoliday
Just mix your berries with some sugar so it gets some of those yummy juices going. Make your pudding as the box directs and chop up those snack cakes!
Now to make it really pretty I put them in these beautiful water goblets. First put a layer of snack cakes. I used Hostess Ho Ho’s how perfect for the holidays!!!
Now place a layer of berries over the cake and make sure to put plenty of juice over the cakes this is part of a trifle you want the juice to soak into the cake. Next is a layer of pudding. I used White Chocolate Instant pudding and followed the directions on the package.
Now another layer of berries and lots of juice. Place another layer of Ho Ho’s and drizzle with more berry juice. Place a dollop of Whipped Topping on top of that drizzle with more berry juice and garnish with a berry and one Ho Ho slice!
That is as easy as it gets and look how pretty it is!!!
You can change this up pretty much any way you want from using different fruit to different pudding and even different snack cakes!! A Twinkies Trifle with chocolate pudding would be pretty tasty!!!

My mom makes a similar Death by chocolate recipe she picked up somewhere along the way & usually takes it to my aunts for the Christmas gathering. Maybe I can convince her to switch it up a bit this year since I’m not a huge fan of chocolate(possibly the worst female ever, I know)…will have to bring this up in the next few days or so.
