Last month I had the opportunity to visit Disneyland and attend Disney Social Media Moms on the Road. I had an amazing time but whenever you spend time at Disneyland you gotta find a place to lay your head at night! Where to stay at Disneyland is always a question we have to answer.
I have been to Disneyland A LOT the last year and I have stayed at several hotels around Disneyland. This last stay we were hosted by the Grand Legacy Hotel at the Park.
The Grand Legacy is a stones throw away from the entrance to both Disneyland and California Adventure. We were within a 5 to 10 minute walk away. What could be better than that? The rooms were clean and I felt very safe staying at the Grand Legacy. Parking was plentiful and I did not worry about the safety of my car either.
We didn’t have time to actually go swimming but we did get a chance to go take a peek at the pool. It was a great pool area and there was even a cute little wading pool and had fun water toys for the kids to use.
One of the highlights of our stay was having dinner at The Fifth LA’s only rooftop lounge and restaurant. I cannot even begin to tell you how good the food is. We really wanted to be able to see the Disneyland fireworks while enjoying our dinner but because of weather conditions the fireworks were cancelled. We were pretty bummed out about that.
If your planning your next trip to Disneyland and are debating on where to stay I would highly recommend The Grand Legacy at the Park. It is safe ,clean and so close to the park entrances you can throw a rock to them.
Do you have a favorite hotel you stay at when visiting Disneyland? Tell me what it is in the comments!
