Last May I had the fantastic opportunity to visit Walt Disney World’s Epcot where I encountered Karamell Kuchen presented by Storck USA, the makers of Werther’s Original Caramels, where you can sample a variety of tasty treats – brownies, cookies, and fudge – all created using Werther’s famous caramel.
I have to say I love love love soft and chewy caramel corn, so when I learned I was selected to host a Mommy Party featuring Werther’s Original Caramel Corn I was over the moon excited!
The delicious Werther’s Original Caramel Corn was Transformed to Coffin Crunch which was perfect for munching during the Fun Mommy Party!
I invited a few friends over to enjoy this delicious treat and watch the movie Soul Surfer, the true story of surfer Bethany Hamilton!!
We also did some crafting while enjoying the movie!!
So do you want the recipe for the Coffin Crunch?? It is super easy!!!
Ingredients
Method
- On a parchment paper lined cookie sheet spread caramel corn in a single layer. Drizzle first layer with melted almond bark, while almond bark is still melted sprinkle with peanuts then another layer of almond bark then repeat the process with other candy ending with a final drizzle of almond bark and finally sprinkle Halloween sprinkles on top. Let set up and then break into bite size pieces and serve!
I am always afraid to eat caramel corn for fear it will break a tooth but Werther’s Original Caramel Popcorn is tender and delicious it just melted in my mouth I love that!!! Werther’s Original Caramel Popcorn is popcorn covered in smooth, creamy Werther’s caramel. It was voted #1 in a blind taste test. It is made with real butter and fresh cream. The ingredient list is the following: Sugar, Popcorn, Butter, Cream, Corn Syrup, Coconut Oil, Molasses, Sunflower Oil, Salt, Lecithin, Vanilla, and Baking Soda.
I hope you have a fantastic and spooky Halloween!!!
