I came across a black dress from the 60’s at this great little thrift shop!! It had this amazing lace on it of course my mind went crazy I knew I could use that lace for something!! so I paid my fifty cents and took the dress home! To make Vintage Lace Candle Wraps Easy as can be!!
I dint even have it for a week when I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it!! Candle Wraps!! My MIL’s 75th Birthday bash was the perfect excuse to do this 3 minute craft.
I used my seam ripper and took off all the lace from the dress. I had about a yard and a half of lace in total!!
I took the lace and wrapped it around the lace to measure how much it would take. I used about 11 inches for each candle this will vary from candle to candle so what you will want to do is measure around the candle and add about 1/2 and inch.
Then I simply overlapped the lace and hot glued it in place!! Easy Peasy!!
These were soooo easy and they turned out great!! You can use pretty much any kind of lace for this simple project!!!
