When visiting Walt Disney World some people love to shop, and there are all kinds of wonderful trinkets and treasures you can buy. For some reason I never really found anything I had to have in the gift shops but the one thing I always buy when at WDW is the Rapid Fill Mug.
I discovered the Rapid Fill mug when I visited Walt Disney World in 2014 and it has been the one thing I always buy. What is the Rapid Fill mug you ask? I think this is the greatest idea WDW came up with. If your a soda, tea or lemonade drinker this cup is one way to go. This mug is available to purchase at any WDW resort. They are in the dining areas, the resort gift shops, and every quick serve restaurant. You also get one with the purchase of any dining plan! I love that! But if you don’t have the dining plan you can purchase one for $17.99 (which some may think is a crazy price but read on I will break it down for you), with the Rapid Fill mug you can have unlimited refills of soda, ice tea, or any other drink offered at the drink station for the entire length of your resort stay.
You can use your mug at any resort I bought my mug at one resort and moved to another and it worked at the second resort too!! I think that is one of the great things about the Rapid Fill Mug.
Now we all know I drink soda 24/7 I drink a lot of soda. To purchases one 24oz drink costs just over $3 so if I were to purchase 3 sodas a day that would be close to ten dollars in one day in drinks. Now multiply that by how many days you are staying at Walt Disney World, it adds up fast.
Even bottled sodas are over $3.
These mugs are made of plastic so they don’t break which is great. They have these cute graphics on the out side, and I just love them. Now you can’t get refills in the parks but you can get ice water to fill them with. Did you know you could go to any quick serve restaurant in the park and get ice water for FREE??? Yup you can! So I do take my mug in the park and fill it with nice cold ice water!
I have been blessed to have visited Walt Disney World 3 times this past year. It has been amazing, all three trips I have made some fantastic memories. I was treated like royalty on all three trips and was wanting for nothing. I was fed well, we toured places that the everyday visitor was not able to experience. I cannot even tell you what truly wonderful experiences I have had. I always had my refillable mug with me on my adventures!

I’m a Diet Coke addict, so I always buy the mug too! I’m in heaven with unlimited sodas! I’ve been buying these mugs for years and still have all of them – I can’t seem to bring myself to get rid of them. I only wish you could pay to reactivate them instead of buying another mug every time! Hi from one Disney fan to another 🙂
Lynda ME TOO! I have all but one mug and the one mug I gave to my granddaughter! I cant bring myself to get rid of them either! And I am a Coke Zero fanatic!! And waving back at you!
