So fall is finally here and that means Football and some serious tailgating! So we all know that some people take tailgating very seriously. I love to take something that can be very involved and time consuming and make it easy! Today I have a cute and easy way to make tailgating easy!
Now you don’t need to fuss with fancy dishes or serving platters. I whipped up this mini tailgating party using Rubbermaid® storage containers and disposable plates, cups and silverware! This is also great for clean up because you simply put the lids back on the Rubbermaid® containers and put your leftovers in the fridge!
I started with my menu and wanted to make it super easy! One of my favorite game day foods are Lil Smokies in BBQ Sauce! We love these in our house! I put them in one of the largest storage containers because I made A LOT of them!
Now I didn’t make really fancy signs either I used HP Photo Creations to make the banner and the food signs. Glue dots were used to secure the signs and banners. I love glue dots! They have saved my life a hundred times!!
So let me tell you about my favorite Rubbermaid® Storage Container! The Rubbermaid® Party Platter!! This is a must have for any tailgating party! I love that it is multi pieced for easy use and storage! And it looks nice on your table! Not like an ugly plastic piece!
- The Rubbermaid® Party Platter is a lightweight two-in-one food container designed for entertaining at home or taking to a social event.
- The large divided base keeps different types of food separated, while a smaller leak-proof Twist & Seal™ inner container holds the dip and nests snugly into the base.
- Each container comes with a secure lid that creates a tight seal and allows for safe and easy transportation.
- 100% BPA free, the Party Platter is microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe.
I also packed all the containers in one large container for easier transport but you could just put them in your cooler or a plain ole’ cardboard box!
I had fun “mapping” out how I wanted my table to look, but in the end I think it turned out the way I wanted it to!
Do you have favorite tailgating foods? We always have to have those Smokies and Sauce I would get in big trouble if we didn’t have them!!
