It has been a crazy couple of weeks here at my house. The fall months are just busy with birthdays and Boy Scout events and lots of travel for Mr. Pinkcakeplate. Our Sundays are super busy too between attending church and my MIL joining us for Sunday dinner I am just overloaded. I am so glad that I have a slow cooker. I especially love to use it on those Sundays and this Slow Cooker Coca-Cola® Pot Roast is perfect for a chilly fall dinner.
I love that I have a Sam’s Club just about a mile from my home it’s so close sometimes I forget it’s there. But I always love shopping at Sam’s Club. My husband loves it for the great prices he can get on electronics and I think every TV in our house we bought there. This last trip didn’t involve electronics but it did involve Coca-Cola®. It is so helpful that Sam’s Club carries a great variety of Coca-Cola® products. I am especially fond of the little tiny single serve cans of Coca-Cola®. I think they are just so cute but not to mention the perfect serving size. And I love that I don’t have to open a huge bottle for just a few ounces that I used in my Slow Cooker Coca-Cola® Pot Roast recipe. I have always loved using various sodas in my recipes from cakes to sauces and now in this moist tender delicious pot roast. Using just 12 ounces of Coca-Cola® not only flavors the roast but also helps to creates delicious gravy.
Mr. Pinkcakeplate loves gravy on everything especially pot roast. I used a little cornstarch to thicken up the juices from the Slow Cooker Coca-Cola® Pot Roast. It was perfect.
