Last week I went to one of my favorite grocery stores, as I walked in there was a display with 99 cent boxes of cereal. Now that’s a cheap box of cereal. The one that caught my eye was a box of Oreo O’s. Now I am not one to eat chocolate flavored cereal matter of fact I despise it. LOL! But as I walked past it I threw a box in my shopping cart because I knew just what I wanted to do with it, and it wasn’t drown it in milk. I wanted to make Oreo O’s Cereal Treats.
I didn’t want to eat these Oreo O’s with milk but I did have to taste them. They taste just like the classic cookie minus the middle which I hate! Needless to say I wanted to eat the whole box of cereal. I loved the crispy crunchy little o’s. They are just perfect for snacking so making them into Oreo O’s Cereal Treats was the perfect idea. I love that these are super easy to make and I didn’t even have to turn on my oven!
Now these Oreo O’s Cereal Treats are not for the faint of heart. They are a chewy crunchy delicious combination of marshmallowy goodness with nostalgia of the Oreo cookie. They are a bit on the sweet side so you might want to cut them into smaller bars plus that way you can eat more without feeling too guilty.
