I am so loving this Travel Trailer Sweet Treat series, it has been so fun coming up with all these fun no bake treats. These No Bake Texas Tumbleweeds are salty sweet, crunchy and so creamy. They have a really fun ingredient that makes these treats so delicious.
Just look at those little No Bake Texas Tumbleweeds do they not look soooo good? And yes I had to add a few confetti sprinkles. The sprinkles kind of make them a little more pretty. Have you noticed that most no bake cookies are not that pretty? So of course I have to dress them up just a tiny bit and sprinkles fit the bill. Now you don’t have to dress up your no bake cookies and treats unless you want to! It’s totally optional. But just look how fun it makes them.
These No Bake Texas Tumbleweeds have a super fun ingredient. Potato Sticks! Sometimes these can be hard to find and if you can’t find them you can always grab them off of Amazon.
I found mine at Walmart and I have even found them in the dollar store. At the dollar store they come in bags not canisters. The potato sticks give this little No Bake Texas Tumbleweeds that salty flavor and big big crunch. These cookies are a cross between a cookie and a candy. The potato sticks are coated in peanut butter and butterscotch candy so they are just so yummy. If you cant find the potato sticks you can make them with lightly crushed ridged potato chips. You want to use a sturdy potato chip to hold all the peanut butter butterscotchy goodness.
I can sit and eat the whole batch of these little goodies. I am totally serious if you love salty sweet treats you better watch out for these bad boys. The combination of flavors is amazing. I just kind of want to coat everything with the peanut butter butterscotch mixture.
