This post is packed with a whole lotta goodness so make sure to read all the way to the bottom of the post! This is a Month of Disney combined with a Cricut giveaway!! How cool is that?? I just love up cycling things and love bags of any kind so this Minnie Mouse Up cycle Straw Handbag was right up my alley!!
This little bag started out like this…
I found it in the Target Dollar Spot for a mere $3! Yes that’s right only 3 bucks!! I used my electronic cutting machine to cut out the Minnie Mouse shape. So easy! The fabric I used I had put Heat-n-Bond on the back and was able to iron it on to the straw bag. I changed up the handles but you can leave them as they are when you purchase the bag. I also had this cute pink jumbo rick rack in my stash and sewed it right on the bag! Super easy. If you don’t sew you can use a hot glue gun to adhere an embellishment to the bag!

How well did the iron-on stick to the straw after use? Curious as to the durability. Thx!

Trisha, I have not used the bag yet so I cannot comment on the durability but I think I will stitch it down just to keep it from coming off.

[email protected] says omg I need this. I am an animal rescue and I make cards sets etc to sell to help fund the sprays of the animals I trap. I trap strays and they go off to another group who puts them up for adoption. I socialize feral kittens and they go to Pet Smart.
The feral cats I bring back to my property after vetting of course and they go in an acclimation kennel for 30 days outside so they want run off when let out. The feral so live out there life in backyard and woods behind house. I provide insulated houses and food continued vet car for rest of their life. Feral cats that are true wild feral so can’t be adopted.
I need this machine to make adoption event banners and mass product craft and home decor items to sell.
Thank you so much for the inspiration of ideas and chance to win. This would be A Life Saver To Animals and Me Too!
I don’t use my google acct for mail see below email.
