I posted a few weeks ago I started Nutrisystem and first and foremost I love the food honestly I have not eaten anything that tasted bad! The entrees are easy to prepare and really tasty! The snacks are perfectly portioned and have great flavor! I am loving the program but lately I have had a love hate relationship with my scale. Today is my story of the day I threw my scale away.
I will admit the first few weeks on Nutrisystem I struggled. I suffer from Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) which gives me bouts of nausea. This goes away on its own and while I waited for it to subside it was very difficult to stay on track but I managed to lose about 11 pounds over the course of about 3 weeks which brings us to the present.
Now I have been working extremely hard to continue to stay on track and stepped on my scale on Tuesday I maintained so I was ok with that. Then I stepped on the scale about a week later and the scale didn’t move. I was not only disappointed but a little pissed. Weight loss is hard enough alone but when you think your doing great and the scales don’t show it makes me down right angry! I wanted to throw my scales out the window and I kinda did! This scale was one that my husband owned before we were married so I have no clue how old it actually is. After debating in my mind I finally decided it was time to throw these scales in the garbage and buy new ones! So I did! I found these on Amazon and they should be here in a few days and for now I am happy that I threw away my scale!
I go back and forth about throwing in the towel if my hard work doesn’t pay off, for now I am still hanging in there and staying on track. Its not easy!
