We had the best time at Disneyland this past week!! Let me tell you I am so glad we were able to go before they took down all the beautiful Holiday Decorations!! I love the Holidays at Disneyland!! This trip I found some of the most delicious holiday Disney Eats and Treats!!
I first have to tell you about the Cajun Meatloaf!! Oh man let me tell you this was sooo good!! I don’t eat other peoples meatloaf but this one I could eat every day!! It was tender and seasoned perfectly and the sauces used were perfect and did not over power the flavors of the meatloaf!! The veggies were crisp tender and just delicious! And the mashed potatoes they were perfect!!
Now enough about the eats lets take a look at the treats!! Everywhere you turn there are treats of every king to be found!! I just so happened to go into the Jolly Holiday Bakery and found some forgotten sweet baked items that proved to be very tasty!!
There were so many to choose from but I came out of the bakery with these three tasty treats!! I wouldn’t let any one eat them until I had taken pictures of them!! Yes a true sign of a blogger no eating until the photos are taken!!! Hahaha!!
First up this adorable Gingerbread cookie!!!
This bad boy was so delicious!! It was moist and tender more on the cakey side than a cookie and I like that!! The spices were perfect not overpowering at all!! All three of us enjoyed this treat!!
Next up the Holiday Brownie!
I got this for Mr. Pinkcakeplate he is the brownie King!!! I have discovered I am not a huge fan of brownies!!! They are just too dense and moist for me very candy like and if I want candy I will eat candy!! This brownie was just perfect moist, dense and chocolaty!! And the chocolate curls on top were yummy!! Mr. Pinkcakeplate devoured it!!! That is how I know it was good!!LOL!!
Now here is one of my favorite cookies. The shortbread cookie!!
This cookie was a nice surprise!! It was crisp and buttery and not too sweet and the addition of the glaze was perfect!! This was my favorite treat of all three pastries I bought! The glaze did not harden too much and that made it just yummy!! Needless to say I ate this whole cookie by myself not at the same time but I kinda didn’t share!! LOL!!
Now the last treat I want to tell you about is the Chocolate Coffee Yule Log we picked up at The Plaza Inn!!
This was AH-MA-zing!!! The cake was moist and delicious and the filling oh the coffee flavored filling was sooooo yummy!! And the chocolate frosting was soooooo good!! I don’t know how else to describe this other than AH-MA-zing!!! I want to make my Chocolate Ganache Loaf Cake with a Coffee filling next time I make it!!!
Needless to say we ate our way through both parks and had a great time!!! I brought home a few other confections!! Stay tuned for some copy cat recipes of some of our favorite Disney Treats!!!
