Who doesn’t love Krispy Treats?? I absolutely loved the Salted Caramel Krispy Treats I shared with you a little while ago!! Well with Halloween approaching FAST I came up with a super easy treat that is so cute you will want to make them for sure!! Crash Landing Krispie Treats~Quick and Easy Halloween Treat!!!
How cute are these??? Last year I made Crash Landing Cupcakes for my MIL’s birthday and had to cut out each and every boot by hand!! But this year I didn’t have to do that!!! It was a breeze to make these adorable treats!!
With my Grand Calibur and the darling Witches Brew Dies I had these decorations made in no time at all!!
In addition to the Grand Calibur and the Witches Brew Dies you will need black paper, small glue dots, paper straws and scissors.
Simply cut out as many sets of boots you will need with the Grand Calibur and dies.
Cut straws in half. Place 2 glue dots on end of straw and adhere boot to end of straw. Make sure you have both boots facing the correct directions!! don’t want to have 2 left boots!!LOL!!!
Now its time to make the Krispy Treats!
Crash Landing Krispie Treats
Ingredients
- 1/2 C. butter
- 1/2 C brown sugar
- 1/4 C half and half or cream
- 10 oz marshmallows
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
- 8 C. Cocoa Krispies
Instructions
- Add the cereal to a large heatproof bowl and set aside.

- Add the butter to a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Once melted, stir in the brown sugar, heavy whipping cream and corn syrup. Cook until thick and syrupy while stirring frequently, about 7 minutes. Turn off the heat and stir in the marshmallows. Keep stirring until the marshmallows are smooth and melted.
- For these I used a cupcake tray sprayed with baking spray and while the Krispy Treats are still warm mold them into the pan and make sure you heap them up over the top. While they are still warm (you gotta move fast at this point) push the witches legs into the Krispy Treat you may have to use a skewer or a lollypop stick to help form the hole the witches legs go into!
- I Let the treats set up and then took them out of the pan and removed the witches legs. With some melted candy melts I drizzled the top of the Treat then I hit with some sprinkles!! This last part can be omitted if you like and simply put sprinkles on before they completely set up!!

I put them in these cute cupcake papers for easy pick up! Are these not adorable??? And yes you can totally customize them to your preferences and the kids will love helping you make these!!
Hope you have a safe and fun Halloween!!
