This post is brought to you by Mom Select and At Home Stores. All experiences and opinions are 100% mine. Craft Corner to Planner Girl Heaven
I love my craft room it is full of all my favorite things. Glue guns, electronic cutting machines, sewing machines, glue dots and oh so much more! I have this one corner that I wanted to turn into more of a office/planner/inspiration corner. I turned my little craft corner to a planner girl heaven.
In order to understand the condition of my planner girl heaven before the make over you have to see what it looked like before I started the evolution. No judgement ok? Here is the before.
I know its pretty scary and that is kinda why I wanted to spruce it up a bit and change its focus.
The first place I headed to was my local At Home Store. This is one of the funnest stores I have been in, it has everything home related. It is totally filled to the brim with so many pretty things! With it being back to school they have soooo much for that college dorm. They even have a check list you can download to make sure you don’t forget anything. Click on the image and it will take you to the download!
I found some really cute things at my At Home Store to transform my disaster of a craft corner to a planner girl heaven. With the addition of shopping in my own home I was able to complete the look.
I already had the pink chair and the aqua storage cubes so I stayed with that color scheme and added touches of gold. I found this amazing arrow wall piece and the “Good morning gorgeous” wall plaque at the At Home Store. I also found this shaggy aqua pillow which I love on my pink chair. I removed all my glass jars that held craft supplies and really changed it up with putting books on my shelves. This amazing geo sphere which I love works great as a book end. I had the white owls and I loved them sitting overlooking my work space.
I put all my planners and planner goodies on the shelf just above my computer! My hole punch is up on the shelf too. Even though my camera collection is tiny I think they look perfect on this shelf.
There are so many little changes that made so much of an impact on this little corner in my craft room. I think my favorite element is the collapsible side table Mr.Pinkcakeplate installed for me. You can see it on the right side against the wall.
It is suspended by shelving brackets and when I don’t need to use it I can remove the bracket take down the shelf, and store my rolling cart that holds all my pens and planner decorating supplies in that space. I couldn’t love this spot more.
Now that I have my planner girl dream space I am ready to decorate my planners and utilize this space more as an office than a crafting space! Did I nail it? What do you think? Here is a side by side comparison.
As a result of this transformation I now have a functional work space that makes me so happy. I would love to hear your thoughts! Leave me a comment!!
