We all have heard about the “cronut”! People standing in line for them for hours just to get one! One of my favorite sitcoms had a whole episode about this craze!! Have you had this treat? Well I was never able to find one but I did find the amazing Chocolate Fudge Croissant Donut from Dunkin’ Donuts! Which in my mind is even better!
For a sweet start to ’16, Dunkin’ Donuts has added the new Fudge Croissant Donut to their menu! This outrageously delicious donut is sure to be a favorite with chocolate lovers, donut lovers and croissant lovers! It combines Dunkin’ Donuts famous glazed croissant donut with a decadent fudge filling, topped with chocolate and white icing drizzle. This amazing Fudge Croissant Donut was unveiled just this past December, it’s only available for a limited time at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide. I was lucky my Dunkin’ Donut Store carried them!! Yay for me!! love that I live around the corner from Dunkin’ Donuts! I will confess I try to stay away because I love donuts of any shape, size and flavor! This Fudge Croissant Donut from Dunkin’ Donuts is no exception!
I also love that my Dunkin’ Donuts has a drive thru! I went early in the morning and there was quite a line I was a little nervous that this yummy little treat would be sold out! I was soooooo lucky! I was able to snag 2 of these tasty treats!

The new craze is breakfast all day long and I love that Dunkin’ Donuts have that same philosophy! I saved these Fudge Croissants for Mr.Pinkcakeplate and he had them for dessert and LOVED them!! So you can have these tasty treats anytime you want them!! Dessert, after school snack, lunch or even for breakfast!! Ya that one is a no brainer!! LOL! They keep really well too! To stay crisp just keep them in the paper bag and fold the top down!
If your looking for a special treat for just about any time of day, you have to have one of these Fudge Croissants! I promise you will not regret it!!
