I love my dogs you all know that. I talk about them all the time to friends and family. I event took my little one Cinnie to a pet blog conference where she was the talk of the town. I love to find great food to feed them and was so excited when the good folks at AvoDerm® asked me to share my thoughts and feelings about their food. So I bet your wondering what Avocados and Dogs have in common?
My dogs love to eat and one will eat anything so I have to be careful and make sure she doesn’t overeat or eat the wrong thing. Lately I have been hearing whisperings about avocados and a dogs diet. I first heard things about dogs eating the skin and the seed being bad for them and in doing my research both those do present issues of possible choking for dogs but other than that avocados are OK for dogs to eat. We all know how great avocados are. Did you know avocados are a major superfood? They are packed with all kinds of healthy fats, vitamins, minerals and protein. So they have to be good for dogs right? Right!!
“Nutrient-dense and high in crude fiber, avocados aren’t called the ACE of fruits for nothing—vitamins A, C and E are there in abundance, as is B6. Avocados are also rich in folate, potassium, niacin, essential fatty acids and many other nutrients essential to good skin and coat health as well as good overall health. Ounce for ounce, the avocado is simply one of the most nutritious fruits there is.”
Let me tell you about AvoDerm® dog food. The good people at AvoDerm® put the goodness of avocados in their food.

I never thought to give avocado to my pug and I wonder why I did not do that! This makes perfect sense and so healthy.
