So this October I am officially a Senior Citizen. I know its totally crazy I don’t feel like a senior citizen, I don’t think I look like a senior citizen I hope I don’t! I don’t dress like a senior citizen thank goodness! With this milestone birthday I decided to have a fun daytime event with a few of my close friends a very Happy Birthday to ME!
We live close to a great retail and entertainment area and there are quite a few new businesses popping up! I was really excited that a Main Event popped up just down the street from us. It is literally less than 2 miles from my home! What better way to ring in senior citizen status than with a great birthday party with a few of my favorite friends! Little did I know I would be bowling with a pro!!
Erin from Printablecrush.com was in a jr. bowling league when she was younger and yes she won the game!! My good friend Ashley and her sister Cedar were good contenders.
But my friend Sandi and I came in last place not that I expected to do well it has been over 20 years since I last picked up a bowling ball. LOL! Main Event Entertainment is a one stop entertainment destination. In addition to bowling, Main Event offers billiards, multi-level laser tag and a games gallery with over 100 virtual and interactive games for players of all ages and skill levels. Gravity ropes, rock climbing, mini golf, bocce ball and karaoke are also available at select locations. It is packed to the brim with things to do! I played it safe and chose to bowl because I suck at video games and laser tag is out!
Now lets talk about the food! The variety is amazing. Starting with appetizers, classic and specialty pizzas, salads, burgers, ribs, steaks and more again something for everyone! Handcrafted pizzas and gelato are served in the pizza café, La Bella’s Pizza.
Cedar had the Mac and Cheese which looked so delish! The salad balanced out the calories right???
The Chicken tacos looked so good too!
Since we were bowling I picked up these cute socks for “party favors” they were a last minute addition so I didnt get a chance to “dress” them up but I thought they were a perfect addition to the sweet party treats.
I loved that Main Event allowed us to bring in all our fun party elements. I had to have balloons!
And take a look at these treats!
I loved the fact that I had no clean up! Pretty much no set up and was able to just enjoy the day! I loved that there is a little brochure stand to help you plan your next event whether it be a birthday party or a corporate event Main Event has you covered!
