Disney's Ariel Dinglehopper Hair Bow! Easy Craft Tutorial!

I am going to Walt Disney World in just about a month and I couldn’t be more excited!! Seriously how fun will that be? A week or so ago I went shopping with a few of my friends that will be traveling to Walt Disney World also! We stopped in Hot Topic to take a peek at cute hair bows! They totally inspired me to make this adorable Ariel Dinglhopper Bow!

I started with my Sizzix Big Shot

and Sizzix Bigz Die Silverware Tags cutting the Dinglehopper (Fork) it out of gold paper! I then embossed it using the Textured Impressions embossing folder.

It was a little bigger than I wanted it so I trimmed it as close as possible to the outer edge of the raised embossing and I think it was perfect! I set this aside to work on the bow!(Sorry I didnt get pictures of this I was a little excited to make the bow!)

I pulled out my mini Bowdabra machine to make the bow!

I used 18″ of Bowdabra wire to make the bow. It is folded with a loop at one end. You will see later what the loop is for!

I used about 18″ of the 2″ wide satin ribbon making 4 loops. Just loop the ribbon in the Bowdabra to make the bow loops. The Bowdabra holds the ribbon in place as you work I love that!

Next I used this really pretty ruffly purple ribbon to make the inner loops for the bow! Again looping through the Bowdabra.

Now here is where the loop of the Bowdabra wire comes into play. I took the free end of the wire and laced it through the loop and tightened it to secure all the ribbon loops together then I split the two wires and brought them to the back and tied in a knot!
