Easter is only a few days away and I have a really easy and delicious cookie recipe! I found malted milk easter eggs and chopped those up and sprinkled them on the top!! These Chocolate Malted Milk Cookies are a super easy recipe to make and put these yummy little gems in someone specials Easter Basket!
Now the name of this little cookie may be a little misleading. This is a chocolate cookie that uses chocolate malted milk powder to give it that chocolaty malted milk flavor! I found my Chocolate Malted Milk Powder at my local Walmart!
You can also purchase it from Amazon HERE.
These cookies are crisp and chewy at the same time!! I also put chopped malted milk Easter eggs inside the batter and sprinkled some on top when I pulled them out of the oven!! This put pretty pastel color on top of the cookies!! They look so springy and pretty!!
I sprinkled them on top of the cookies right after I pulled the cookies out of the oven which melted the candy coating on the candy eggs acting like glue to keep the chopped candy on top of the cookies!!
Mr. Pinkcakeplate LOVED these cookies!! He is my barometer of a good cookie!! If he hates them I know they are a fail!!
