Chocolate Chip Oreo Truffles Recipe

I totally have to apologize things have been super crazy busy at my house lately!  So today on Day 5 of the 12 Days of Christmas Candy I give you Day 4 LOL!!  Today I have for you these amazing Chocolate Chip Golden Oreo Truffles!!  They taste like a golden OREO dipped in chocolate soooo yummy!!!

I just loved making these I think I love working with chocolate and these have a lot of chocolate in them!  I made a traditional Oreo Cookie Ball recipe and added mini chocolate chips to the inside of the truffle sooo sooo easy then for decor I sprinkled the mini chocolate chips on top while the candy was still melted!!

These would make a great gift for family, friends or neighbors!!  Who would not love to get a box of these delicious treats for the Holidays??

Chocolate Chip Oreo Truffles

• 1 8 oz block of cream cheese softened
• 36 Golden Oreos finely crushed
• 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips and extra for garnish
• 3 pkg. 4 oz. each white baking chocolate, melted

Method

 

1. Mix cream cheese cookie crumbs until blended. Add in 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips.
2. Shape into 48 (1-inch) balls. Freeze 10 min. Dip balls in melted chocolate; place in single layer in shallow waxed paper-lined pan. Decorate with mini chocolate chips.
3. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. Keep refrigerated.
