With St.Patty’s day fast approaching I thought I would share with you this adorable treat box!! I was not only inspired by this box die but every one needs a little Pot of Gold at the end of a Rainbow!! St. Patrick’s Day Treat Box using my Spellbinder Grand Calibur and Dies!
I just had to make this tiny treat box it is so adorable!! I tried to fashion it to look like a rainbow over clouds but I couldn’t find the cardstock I wanted but I found this adorable cardstock with clouds on it. Sometimes you have to go with plan B!! I still think it turned out pretty cute!!
Ok here are your supplies:
Spellbinder Products:
- Spellbinder Grand Calibur
- Spellbinder Grand Template Square Bracket Edge Box
Products from my stash:
- Double sided cardstock
- 6″ length of ribbon
- scissors
- Beacon ZipDry
- We R Memory Keepers Big Bite Crop-a-Dile
With my Spellbinder Grand Calibur I cut out both the top and the bottom of the box.
Using my Big Bite Crop-a-Dile I punched a small hole in the middle of the top of the box.
Now you can use a bone folder to fold the sides but I found I did not need one to get the folds straight and crisp I just carefully folded the paper.
Using the Beacon ZipDry I glued the sides of the box and repeated the same steps for both top and bottom.
I took an 8″ length of ribbon and tied it in a knot.
Then very carefully I pulled the ribbon through the hole on the top of the box.
And your done!!
Fill it with some chocolate gold coins and you have a Pot of Gold under that rainbow!! Perfect for that St. Patty’s day treat!!
Have a fantastic week!!

Very cool and it looks pretty simple with those tools.
