I just love my Spellbinder Grand Calibur and my Spellbinder Dies!! In getting ready to go to Disneyland AGAIN this month I made a new ruffle bag and needed a cute pin to dress it up!! So I made this Super Easy Fabric Posy Pin!!!
Isn’t it cute??? It is no sew and so easy I had it made in less than an hour!!!
Here is what you will need:
Spellbinder Big Scalloped Circle Die Large
Spellbinder Standard Circle Die Large
4 scraps of coordinating fabric
Hot glue Gun and Glue Sticks
1 Flat Back Pin
1 decorative button
small scrap of coordinating felt
You will need to cut out 4 scallops of each fabric sizes 4″, 3.5″, 3″, 2.5″. Cut out 2 felt circles 1-2.5″, 1-1″
Fold each scallop in half and then in half again using a small drop of hot glue to hold in place.
When all are folded place a dollop of hot glue in the center of the felt circle, with the largest “petal” place the tip in the center of hot glue placing all four to make the first layer of petals.
Repeat with other three petal layers.
When final petal layer is in place put a small dollop of hot glue in center and place decorative button in middle of flower.
Turn flower over and place a small line of hot glue in middle of felt and place flat back pin over hot glue.
Open pin and place 1″ circle of felt over pin back and add more hot glue to secure circle!! That’s it your done!!!!
