Effie my Elf On The Shelf is home!!! With an adorable FREE Printable!!

Last year I wanted and Elf on the Shelf, the year before I wanted and Elf on the Shelf. I just couldn’t bring my self to bring one home because well frankly Mr. Pinkcakeplate and I are empty nesters!!  No littles here in our house unless you count the four legged ones (NOPE they don’t count)!!LOL!! I would pick them up and look at them in every store I found them in! I would look at each elf inside.  I didn’t know if I wanted a boy elf or a girl elf.  Even this year I did the same thing until Friday.  Yes I went out on Black Friday into the shopping madness.  To my surprise I timed it just right and it actually wasn’t that bad.   When I went into my favorite store for all fantastic home decor and more I went to the book section to yet again oogle over the Elf on the Shelf goodies! When I arrived at the spot where they are stocked the shelves were empty I thought oh well maybe next year.  I headed to the Holiday section to look at all the pretties and to my surprise on the back shelf there they were ELF ON THE SHELF dolls, books and costumes!!

This was a sign yes it was.  I picked up the first box and looked inside it was a cute boy elf but he didn’t “speak” to me,  I set him back on shelf and picked up the second box,  this one a girl!!

There she was EFFIE,  this was MY elf.  How did I know? I am not sure,  I just knew she was mine.  Into my shopping cart she went and we were home bound!!!  Now I am sure your wondering how I came to name her Effie not really sure about that one either but Effie Sparkle Bottom is her full name and it totally fits her.  She has come HOME!!

I have to get sewing to make her some cute skirts.  Effie is destine to help me with all my crafting and holiday baking adventures!!  She definitely needs a few cute skirts and an apron is a must for baking!!  But before we get started crafting and baking, the amazing Jillene from InkHappi created these darling printables that you can download and use for YOUR EOTS adventures!!!!!  Now you have to go to InkHappi to get these darling printables but they are totally FREE!!!  Yes Jillene is like that!!
