I have to apologize for my absence! I could tell you I have been super busy which is true but also I kinda was avoiding my computer for a few days! Not sure why but I am back and here is the latest I have been working on!! If you follow me on instagram you have been seeing bits and pieces of a Baby Shower I have been working on!! I had to keep it under wraps because it was a surprise baby shower and the MTB (Mommy to Be) follows my blog and Pinterest Board but not Twitter or Instagram!
I have to apologize I did not take a lot of pictures and the ones I did take were really dark. I tried to lighten them up as much as possible but some were just to dark to salvage so there are just a few!
As you can tell the theme was “Ready to Pop” the MTB loves popcorn so this was an easy theme! I created the invite in Photoshop and attached it to a package of microwave popcorn!! This set the mood for the shower!!
Everyone loved the invite!! I used brown craft card stock, this is what I had on hand. I just love how it changed the look of the invite!
I have to tell you I did not accomplish the fantastic results of this baby shower alone! I really was just the assistant! My sweet friend Blanca was the most fantastic Hostess and did all the other decor and was in charge of the lunch goodies!!
It took me almost 8 cans of spray paint to paint this crib but I love how it turned out!! I have to give credit where credit is due!! If it had not been for the amazing Michelle creator of Maddycakes Muse I would have never stumbled upon such an adorable idea!!
Blanca made this adorable Onesie Bunting!! Isn’t it fantastic?? She also made all the ceiling decor and the cute sign on the back of the door!! This shower was so much fun!!
Here is the dessert table!! My forte!!
I made cake pops and oreo cookie pops which were gobbled up in no time!!
And of course there had to be cupcakes!
But the most requested reciepe was for this!
Confetti Popcorn!
This is such an easy recipe your going to die!! It will take you all of 15 mins to make and less time to eat it!! It is sooooooo good!
So as promised here is your recipe!
