Summer is coming to an end and that means the last real summer holiday is Labor Day. How many of you spend hours cooking and getting ready for that last big BBQ or Picnic? Sometimes I want to just make something yummy without making an elaborate meal or dish. This recipe for these Memphis Style BBQ Hot Dogs is easy and delicious.
We love hot dogs in our house and these Memphis Style BBQ Hot Dogs started with delicious OSCAR MAYER Selects Uncured Angus Hot Dogs and are wrapped with OSCAR MAYER Bacon what can be better than that? I had to make these Memphis Style BBQ Hot Dogs and let me tell you they are so good. If it involves bacon Mr. Pinkcakeplate cannot get enough. He ate 4 of these bad boys. One little tip I have is when making these I used toothpicks to secure the bacon on the hot dogs. The toothpicks burnt a little but the bacon did not fall off so kind of a win win. This recipe also calls for Heinz Memphis Style Sweet and Spicy BBQ Sauce which I love the addition of BBQ sauce on a hot dog.
These bacon wrapped hot dogs are a perfect addition to any BBQ or Tailgate. Yes that’s right tailgating is coming up too! What do you serve at your tailgate get together. These are the perfect choice! I have said this before and I will say it again I can find everything I need at my local Walmart. This makes my life so much easier. Now I cannot take credit for the recipe but let me tell you how nice it was not to have to create or think about a new recipe.
