Easy Bananas Foster Kabobs

I love cinnamon, caramel, and bananas together. It’s like they are long lost siblings that have come together and the angels sing! OK that may be an exaggeration but that is how much I love the combination. This recipe for Easy Bananas Foster Kabobs is one that your kids will ask for time and time again.

With the exception of the caramel sauce this is a recipe you can actually have your kids make themselves! It starts with these delicious Kellogg’s® Eggo® Cinna-Toast™ Cinnamon Roll flavor. I love to just eat them alone and the really great, fun thing about these these cinnamon roll flavored Eggo® Cinna-Toast™  is that they are delicious, fun-filled way to eat breakfast!  Now with no artificial flavors and colors from natural sources. They are packed with flavor.  And no mess because no syrup is needed! I like to pop hem in the toaster and off I go.

I’m pretty sure your kiddos will think your the best mom ever if you all make these easy and yummy Bananas Foster Kabobs. There are just a few ingredients needed and you can switch them up.

I chose to make a delicious Caramel Rum Sauce to drizzle over the Bananas Foster Kabobs but if you don’t want to make the sauce any caramel sauce will work.

How about making a Banana Split Kabob with the Eggo® Chocolatey Chip Choco-Toast™ ? OK I might need to make those next!

These Bananas Fosters Kabobs are so easy to make and so yummy. Kids and adults will love these!

Bananas Foster Kabobs

Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

Caramel Rum Sauce
  • 1 packed cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon rum extract
Bananas Foster Kabobs

Method
 

  1. Mix the brown sugar, half-and-half, butter and salt in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook while whisking gently for 5 to 7 minutes, until it gets thicker. Add the vanilla and rum extracts, and cook another minute to thicken further. Turn off the heat, cool slightly and pour the sauce into a jar. Refrigerate until cold.
