Now this will date me but you already know I am a grandmother, when I was younger I used to watch a lot of Lavern and Shirley, it was my favorite sit com along with Happy Days. I remember Lavern would always drink her cola with milk this used to make my tummy hurt. The thought of milk and soda mixed together. YUCK! Until I tried it! Now it is one of my favorite drinks. You will love this Creamy Dirty Diet Cola recipe!
So I first discovered adding cream to my soda a while ago and now I add it when I want a special treat. I love that Dunkin’ Donuts® Extra Extra Creamer is made with real sugar, milk and cream for a wonderfully rich and smooth taste. It is perfect for this Creamy Dirty Diet Cola recipe. This is not a totally calorie free drink but it is low calorie so I still classify it as a “diet” drink!
I cannot tell you how much I love Dunkin’ Donuts® Creamers. They are so perfect for just about everything from drinks to frostings to that splash of cream in your morning beverage. I love adding Dunkin’ Donuts® Creamers to my hot chocolate in the winter and in my cola in the summer. I have even been known to replace milk in my buttercream frosting with Dunkin’ Donuts® Creamers.
This recipe calls for just a few things, diet cola of choice, coconut extract, fresh limes, and Dunkin’ Donuts® Extra Extra Creamer.
It is a easy as 1,2,3, start with your Dunkin’ Donuts® Extra Extra Creamer on the bottom of your glass, fill with ice, squeeze lime pour cola over ice!
As you can see it just takes a little stir to make it just right! You want that creamy goodness throughout the whole drink!
Make sure to leave a little room at the top of your glass when you stir the cream and soda will foam up and possibly overflow the glass!
Ingredients
Method
- Pour the coconut extract into the bottom of a 24-ounce glass. Add 1-2 Tbs Dunkin’ Donuts® Extra Extra Creamer.Fill glass about halfway with ice.
- Squeeze the lime quarters over the ice and drop them into the glass so the rind is touching the ice. Pour the Diet Coke over the limes and ice.
- Add a straw to stir and serve.

This is such a pretty and refreshing drink!! Thank you! I came across your recipe on Pinterest and thought how I’d love to make it, but I follow a low carb high fat diet. I followed your directions exactly except for the creamer, can’t have the carbs in it. Instead I used 1 Tbsp. heavy whipping cream and added 4 tsp. sugar equivalent of liquid sucralose, EZ-Sweetz. Again, thanks for a great beverage recipe.
