Every year Denny’s is part of the No Kid Hungry campaign.  I participated last year and was so excited to participate again this year.  We had the opportunity to promote this campaign in some different ways and one way was to have a “Blogger Event” I thought this would be such a fun way to raise money for No Kid Hungry and give some of our local bloggers a way to support this great cause.  And so Paint the Night Orange was born!

What better way to raise money than to have a silent auction? Win Win for everyone!! My Co-Hostesses and I had so many amazing people provide wonderful donations I cannot even begin to thank all those who donated. If it had not been for those awesome products and services that were donated  we would not have been able to raise over $300 for No Kid Hungry!

I think we all could agree the night was filled with good food and good friends! We had amazing Denny’s Appetizers and some sweet treats and we were able to get to know each other better and make some new friends!

Since the theme was Paint the night Orange some of the attendees were all decked out in their best orange attire! I think this little one was the best dressed!

We were uplifted and inspired by Kathy Cano-Murillo of Crafty Chica whom I love! She is such a wonderful person, so accomplished, and an amazing author and artist! I love being around her! Her positive spirit is infectious!!

No child should go hungry in America, but 1 in 5 kids will face hunger this year.
