So we all know I have 2 senior dachshunds and they keep me on my toes all the time! Last year was a very hard year with them and their health. When I travel and go out of town I have to either travel when Mr. Pinkcakeplate is home to take care of the dogs or ask my MIL to watch the dogs. Well the last time I went out of town and had my MIL watch the dogs I had lots of reservations and was not really comfortable while I was away. Now we all know pets have accidents! Yes they do, accidents of all kinds! My oldest dachshund got a hold of a 16 oz bag of red candy melts! You guessed it! What a mess. It was awful. I did not get all the stain out of the carpet it was that bad! Now we moved into a rental home about a year ago and before we moved in the carpets were cleaned. They looked good for about a week before the stains started to resurface. It totally looked horrible.
