Hey my dear readers I have decided to start the “12 days of Christmas Candy” ! My intention is to give to you 12 of the easiest yummiest Christmas treats I can find!!
Today is Day one!!! I have for you the easiest and quite tasty Fudge Recipe I have found! It calls for 3 ingredients!
1 container ready made frosting
1 12 oz bag of chocolate chips
1 c nuts
Yup that is it!!
Here is how you make it:
Melt the frosting in a 2 quart sauce pan over medium heat or you can do this in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl! Once the frosting is melted add the chocolate chips and let the heat of the melted frosting melt the chips. Stir as needed until mixture is smooth.
When the chips are melted and the mixture is smooth add the nuts.
Pour into lined 8″x8″ pan and let candy harden.
When candy is cool remove from pan and cut into squares!!
Your friends and family will never know this fudge wasn’t made from scratch!!
You can use many different combinations of frosting and chips. I love using the cream cheese frosting with white chocolate chips and adding in crushed candy canes for Candy Cane Fudge. You can use that same combo and add nuts for white chocolate fudge!! The combinations are endless!!!
