Classic Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 + 1/2 Cups all purpose flour
  • 3 Heaped tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 Tsp. baking soda
  • a Pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 + 1/3 cup buttermilk

Instructions
 

  • Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and whisk until combined.
  • Mix all of the wet ingredients in a different bowl and whisk.
  • Add wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix until combined. Some lumps are ok.
  • Heat some butter or oil in a pan and when it's hot, drop 1/4 cup of the batter.
  • Flip each pancake when bubbles appear in the surface.
  • While still warm, top with butter and maple syrup/honey.
