Toffee Chip Scones

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Box Downton Abbey Organic Scone Mix
  • 1/4 Cup powdered sugar
  • 2 Heaping Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 Cup Heath Toffee Chips
  • For Glaze
  • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • additional Toffee Chips for garnish ~ if desired

Instructions
 

  • Pour dry scone mix in a bowl and add powdered sugar and brown sugar to mix and blend until both are incorporated in the dry ingredients. Follow directions on back of package to mix scones adding in the vanilla when you add in the milk. Add in toffee chips and work dough with your hands until the chips are incorporated into dough.
  • Divide dough into 3 balls. Flatten each ball of dough into a 3-4 inch disk on your cookie sheet. Cut each disk into 6 triangles and bake according to package directions.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. While scones are cooling mix glaze. When scones are cool completely drench them in the glaze and place on a wire rack to let excess glaze drip off the scones. Sprinkle with additional toffee chips if desired!
