Now let me tell you how much fun I have had with this machine!! I downloaded the software and started having fun from the start!!
The software is intuitive and oh so easy to use!! In about 10 minutes I had my Santa Belt designed in the program and ready to go in about 10 minutes!!!! So here is my oh so cute Santa ornament!!
I used black and gold vinyl a clear glass ornament and a bit of ribbon!
With the belt and buckle cut out I first put the black vinyl around the middle of the ornament!
The buckle had a middle piece so I simply clipped that out.
And then placed the buckle in the middle of the belt!! Pretty cute right???
Then I filled it with red m & m’s so Santa’s tummy is filled with candy!!
I love how this turned out sooo cute!! What do you think??

Cute ornaments! I came across your blog looking for a tutorial on how to make these! I have a quick question though – how do you get the black vinyl to not crinkle since it’s on a rounded surface? I tried making these, but the vinyl would not lay flat. Do you have any tips? Thanks!

Alex, I stretched the vinyl just a bit as I adhered it to the ornament. Other than that that is all I can think of that might help. Maybe it has to do with the vinyl itself not sure.
