Today is day one of the twelve days of Christmas Candy here at Pink Cake Plate!! I have some fun and easy candy recipes here for you so keep coming back!! On today’s menu is OREO Cookie Balls Melted Snowmen!! These little bad boys are sooooo yummy!!
As most of you know I work full time in addition to this little blog so every minute I can save running errands I try to do it. That is one reason I love to shop at Walmart. For instance this recipe has a variety of tools and ingredients and I can get them all at Walmart! From the OREO cookies to the Disposable Candy Decorating Bags! Things are easy to find and the shelves are always stocked!
Just look at that cookie isle!! Just about every flavor OREO is available!! Gotta love that
So there are a few tricks to making these adorable OREO Cookie Balls Melted Snowmen. First you will want to pipe the noses. Melt orange candy melts in the Disposable Candy Decorating Bags and snip the end off, then carefully pipe your noses. This might take a few tries but that is ok you can remelt the noses you don’t like!
Using the melted white candy create your snow “puddles”.
While these are still soft add the nose and 3 mini chocolate chips around the edge of the puddle.
Once your OREO Cookie Balls have been mixed, shaped and hardened, dip in the white candy and while the candy is still unhardened, place them on the pre made puddle and sprinkle a few mini chocolate chips on the top of the OREO Cookie Balls. Let harden and enjoy!!
You can even drizzle more of the melted candy over the top of the OREO Cookie Balls if you want to!!
The really great thing about these is they do not have to be perfect because it is a melting snowman after all!

These might possibly be my favorite things EVER. They are SO cute but because they’re melting I feel like eating them would put them out of their misery so I wouldn’t feel too bad eating them. 🙂 Thanks for explaining your processes. I would have never thought to remelt the orange noses if I didn’t like them, I would have eaten them. I’m a natural blonde, so cut me a little slack. 🙂 #client
